This policy explains what information SCV Tech Pte Ltd, trading as RFQ Timber, collects through rfqtimber.com and in the course of trade, why we hold it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

When you send a request for quotation we collect the details you give us: company name, contact name, email address, destination port, and the product and specification information in your enquiry. If you contact us by email or messaging we hold that correspondence. We do not collect payment card details through this website.
To answer your enquiry, prepare and issue offers, perform a contract of sale, arrange inspection and shipment, and to meet legal and customs obligations attached to a shipment. Where we send occasional trade updates, we do so only to business contacts who have asked for them, and every message carries an unsubscribe.
Only where it is needed to fulfil your order: mills and suppliers producing the goods, inspection agencies, freight forwarders and shipping lines, banks handling payment, and customs or port authorities at origin and destination. Some of these parties are outside Singapore, so a shipment necessarily involves an international transfer of the contact and consignment details required to move it. We do not sell or rent personal data.
Enquiries that do not lead to business are kept while they remain commercially relevant and then deleted. Records tied to a completed shipment — contracts, invoices, shipping and customs documents — are kept for as long as accounting, tax and trade law require.
You may ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it, and withdraw consent to marketing at any time. Write to srivcap@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days.
This site uses only what is necessary to serve the pages and, where enabled, basic traffic statistics that tell us which pages are read. It is not used to build advertising profiles. You can block cookies in your browser without losing access to the site.
